Button to behave like a detail screen

I am trying to create a multi-step (custom function) button that will take the details from a row and transfer it to a log recording sheet.

This would be like choosing an option from an inline list with the link to details, then an add row function with the related information.

At the moment the button will grab the information from the top line but I cannot select different rows within the information sheet.

Does anyone know a work around for this?

The action should have access to the row linked to the screen that has the button. If that screen is linked to the first row of the table, then that’s the row that will be accessible. There are possibly ways around it, but you’ll need to explain further what you are trying to do.
