Automatically populate a cell

Hi

I’m a very impressed newbie to glide.

I’m also new to google sheets.

My sheet is a simple one that tracks some recent investments. So does my new app :grinning:

I’m curious if anyone in this community could tell me how to format a cell so that it is updated daily with the closing market price of ethereum, Apple and Tesla ?

Would GoogleFinance formula work for you in this case?

If it’s a google product, it’s probably compatible.

I’m totally new to sheets, so I I’m impressed that I was able to figure out how to make formulas like + - x / % sum average :grinning:

Plus having my spreadsheet as an app, I’m beaming !

I’m officially losing it here

Added a Tab, a pie chart…

The data that shows is accurate, but why does the chart look like this?

Seems like you’re setting the wrong fields for the chart. I read it as each money value happens once.

I stayed away from the app all day after reading your answer. Had real things to do, so just pondered it.

Re-examined the fields tonight when I got home.

My pie chart Tab looks and works great now !
