The thing that jumped out at me about this interview, is that David kept emphasising that one of the goals was/is that working with Glide should be fun.
And it IS!
This is what I think got me hooked on Glide, and keeps me hooked. Building apps with Glide really is a joy (well, most of the time… 
)

What I keep on finding so great is that people can really build (simple) things in a day.
The other day I worked with 30 students that made nice prototypes in a day.
