Allow Web Share in Iframes JavaScript and AI Component

Please consider enabling the allow=“share” attribute for iframes in Glide. This would allow seamless sharing from embedded content, enhancing JavaScript columns and AI components.

I understand potential security concerns but believe it’s worth analyzing, as proper safeguards could make this feature both safe and valuable.

Use cases:

  • Enable JavaScript columns to create shareable content.
  • Allow AI components to generate and share outputs directly.

Hello @MaximeBaker @gvalero by any chance you figured out a way or workaround for this? I’ve got a pretty simple iframe that renders an image based on the user’s current data, and my goal would be to have the iframe being able to invoke the share menu to share on social media (or other apps).
