We have a working prototype now and you should be seeing it rolling out in the next couple weeks.

And will deep linking ever work by column ID?

@Jason: Can you specify if the feature will be released within the next 7 days? (We are about to release an app where this features is requested…We are thinking to release it without deep links unless you are just about to push the feature…).

Ooops! I did not know that.
Usually if the forum link doesn’t get converted to show a snippet of the content, then it’s a good indicator that it’s a restricted access link to certain forum users.

I think this is exactly what I am looking for. 
Just to clarify, if my user creates an event in my app they could share the deep-link on social, etc?
What is the flow if a person without an account clicks-through? Are they redirected to the sign-in?
I’ll be interested to see how we get to specify the social sharing thumbnail, text, etc. This is critical for click-through.
