🚀 Actions on FORM SUBMISSION!

Awesome vid as usual Robert! Thanks!

Would it be possible to enter unique codes inside a form that would “unlock” things (aka go to certain “thank you” pages/view details screens) upon form submission?:nerd_face:

Thanks for any and all replies! :pray:t2:

Should be possible (if answer is A then view details Page A else B)

Do you have a step by step guide lol I know it’s too much to ask if you do please share

I don’t have a tutorial on this. I might create one this week if I get a chance.

Robert, that lock game I showed you the other night would be ideal for this. I created a small game to display how we can use Glide to make games that interact with images. It is actually a game that requires you to identify the combination and when you succeed it displays the button to move onto the next level. I can post it here, it’s not complete but I don’t intend to finish it I was just bored.

My mic is horrible but take a look, if you want it I can post it.

This is great, thanks @Robert_Petitto

Does anyone know if we can bring in user profile data into custom actions i.e. change a column value in one tab based off user profile data?

I can’t see it yet. Thanks guys
George

I guess I can just create a load of relations in my tab I need and use those columns to set the others, just hoping a less manual way

You can use template columns to bring user profiles data over.

Yeah…I asked Glide today if we could use user profile columns in add row/ set columns…the answer was “not yet”. :disappointed:

Just do it in Google Sheets. I added a script that copied and pasted dated for me because Glide didnt do this.

Thanks for asking and sharing the response. It seems like an omission for the first release of this new feature and I expect it to come soon given how much it’s now available in other areas of Glide. It only makes sense to include it here too.

Thanks for asking @Robert_Petitto

And thanks @ThinhDinh I started building this today

Don’t worry as a general rule > after I build all the workarounds > Glide releases the update, so won’t be long!
