500 Rows Limit

I developed my app under a free account a few years ago.
The app is limited to just 500 rows.
I assume this limit is due to the age of my account, as new accounts seem to support 25K rows.
Is there any easy way of increasing the row limit?
Can I copy the app from my legacy account to a new account?

Which data source is your App using?

If it’s using native Glide Tables, then yes you should be able to transfer it to a new team.
If it’s using an external data source such as Google Sheets, then it’s a bit trickier - because external data sources are not supported on the new free plans.

Yes, the app currently uses a Google Sheet.
If external data is not supported in the free plan, can I move my data to Glide Tables?
Sorry, I’m not familiar with Glide Tables.

You can, but you would then basically need to rebuild all the screens and workflows in your App.

I would start by creating a new free team, create an App, and then import your Google Sheet data via the Glide Data editor.

OK, so I can’t copy the app to the new account, I just need to rebuild it.

My Google Sheet contains a few formulas. Do Glide Tables support most Google formulas?

oh yes. There is almost nothing that can done with Google Sheet formulas that can’t be done in the Glide Data Editor. I recommend the below tutorial to get you started.

So if I rebuild my app and data in the new account my data limit increases from 500 to 25K rows. It seems too good to be true!
Is there an overall data limit that includes columns or disk space?

That’s great, thanks very much for your help.
It’s a shame I can’t copy the app to the new account. It would save a lot of time and effort!
