🆕 20 MORE new code columns to play with

The Glide team had a column-creating bash yesterday and now we have some really intriguing new plugins we’d love everyone to test out:

  • Adjust Color
  • QR Code
  • Barcode
  • Text to Emoji
  • Color Palette
  • Image from Color
  • Lorem Ipsum
  • Reverse Array
  • Slice Array
  • Sort Array
  • Unique Array
  • Text Length
  • Text Slice
  • And many more

We’re working to offer these directly within Glide, where they will get increased performance and better usability:

Cool addition!

But I am even more intrigued about new UI for editor.
So far I found:

  • Ability to hide columns(:+1::+1:)
  • Adding columns before or after column!

When this can be shared with us? :slight_smile:

Is this available only in Staging yet?

@Lucas_Pires

They are available in Staging as native columns. However, you can copy the link and paste it into a EC column in production.

Hey Pablo! Yeah, I know. I asked because I loved the way it looks in the screenshot btw. We can see a new design update is coming :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

Great, and 10000 YES with direct integration into Glide !

There is some new features on your screen @david. I like the look and feel :wink:

  • the plus button between Street and City. Is it wrapping column feature ? Or just to add column ?
  • the possibility to hide column.

Some features are availables in staging, like comments on column and hide column.

Just also spotted that David’s screen has multiple data sources!

Maybe it’s airtable :tada:

It looks like it’s Glide Tables.

This is fun! What else can we deduce from @david’s screenshot?!

Also, the total number of rows in the data source (at least for the Glide Table “Offices”) is given in the left pane.

There’s also a dropdown next to the Table name (middle of the data editor). Presumably another way to switch between sheets/tables).
