When a youtube video’s embedding has been disabled by the video owner, it does not play on the app. But, it plays on glideapps when I am developing the app. I would request that glideapps doesnt allow the video to play on glideapps also during development. Else, it gives a false impression that all youtube links are playable on glideapps, because of which lot of work and time gets wasted.
Interesting, I didn’t know that someone can set an option to not allow their YouTube posting to not play in an embedded window.
Yes, any channel owner can set Disable embedding on external websites for their videos of the channel. And the links wont play on external websites with the message “This video is unavailable as playing on external websites has been disabled by the video owner. Watch on Youtube.”
