Your app is over its row limit - bug?

Description

  • I get suddenly and now constantly this message: " Your app has more than 25,000 rows in spreadsheet data sources. Deleting rows or migrating to a database such as Glide Big Tables will allow your app to continue scaling."
  • And then I go and see my total rows over all my apps, and it’s around 5,000 only.

@Robin_Andersson - What’s your Team ID and App ID?

Your Team ID is in the URL of your Glide dashboard, e.g.
go.glideapps.com/o/your-team-id-here

Your App ID is in the URL of the Glide builder, e.g.
go.glideapps.com/a/your-app-id-here/layout

App ID:

Any news? I think glide now has started punishing me with deleting rows suddenly from my project. A bunch of them disapeared today that I added yesterday, I even made three new ones right now and updated and they disapeared. This is very bad.

Glide shouldn’t be deleting rows that I’m aware of. They may not load all of them if you are over your limit, but never should be deleting them.

@Robin_Andersson – Just checked with the team.

It looks like you’re on a Legacy Free plan, which has a 500 row limit on external data sources. (The Legacy plan limits were announced back in January.)

We’re fixing the error notification to show the actual row limits associated with your plan.

Also, @Jeff_Hager is correct here:

They may not load all of them if you are over your limit, but never should be deleting them.

When the row limit is reached, the editor only displays a subset of data from the connected sources (e.g. Google Sheets). If you check the source, though, you should see your data there.

The solution is to either move to Glide Tables or upgrade.
