Working with APP Icon

I can’t find any details on the correct size for the App Icon?

Does anyone know if you can get the ICON to not have a solid color background? Would like a circle with transparent background.

From experience, even if we try to add a transparent image in the shape of a circle, as you want, where it is transparent, the glide brings the color of the theme of the app. Therefore, I believe that it is not possible to do what you want for now.
