Why can't I make my app public?

I don’t understand why I can’t switch to a public app where anyone with the link can access.
Is that a matter of plan? I can’t see any hint.

Does anyone have the same issue?

Thank you in advance.

So Public is not selectable?

What if you go to Settings → Privacy?

On “who can sign in?” I can select only members. :woman_shrugging:t3: but I don’t want to add them manually. I would like the app to be public and anyone can sign in.

Can you show me a screen shot from Settings → Privacy please?

Yep there you go.

Okay, they look like legacy settings.

Can you tell me a bit more about your App:

  • Is it a Classic App, or a new App?
  • Is it in one of the newer Team Based folders, or the old legacy “My Apps” folder?
  • Is it a paid App/Team? If yes, which paid plan?

It’s a new app.
It’s under the Team Based folder (Pushapp), I guess.
Here is a screenshot of what I see.

Okay, that looks like a Legacy Folder with per App billing.
I think you are going to need to create a new Team Folder and move the App into that.

But before you do anything, I would recommend taking a good look at the Glide Pricing plans, and make sure you understand the implications of migrating your App. There may be features and/or limits that you currently have that could change once you switch.

New Apps in legacy folders can only be private apps. That’s from back when new apps were “new” and called Pages and they were initially designed to be secondary apps attached to classic/old apps. More or less an app to be used only by administrators.
