I’ve been using Boring Avatars for the past few years, but they’ve recently shifted from open-source to a subscription service.
Do you have any recommendations for other reliable and fun avatar services? Thanks!
It’s not fun, but I usually use UI avatars for “default” ones, basically taking the user’s name to generate an avatar with the app’s theme color, if they don’t provide one themselves.
A fun one, I think, would be DiceBear.
