Using Template in Choice field

Is it possible to use a Template field in a dropdown in a choice field.
I have Classroom table I am tying to select. My classroom table looks like this…

I would like the dropdown in my Add Item form to show the Classroom and the Capacity so I can select the appropriate one. I thought Template might work but it is not an option to choose.

I’m not sure why it doesn’t work for you. I can choose a template value as the “Values” field here.

For your case thought, I would use “Template” as “Display as” value, what shows up on the front end, and “Classroom ID” as the “Values” that’s actually written to the back end.
