Hey there ! I’m trying to make an app for my family so we can all stay connected. Like a directory of my extended family. There over 200 people because it spans generations. Just me and my mum and uncle will be admins..but we want everyone else to have access to view the app. Do I need to take the plan with more than 100 users if I want to share this with my family ?
Please help ! I want to take the right plan before making the app.
Anybody that actually signs in to your app is a user. Anybody else that just views a public app without signing in is a viewer.
If you plan on having your family members sign into the app to discourage exposing email/phone numbers, then you’ll probably want the maker plan.
To support up to 200 users, you need to upgrade to the Maker Plan. However, please keep in mind that the Maker Plan only allows personal email domains (such as Google, Hotmail, Yahoo, etc.). It strictly does not support company emails or custom domains.
Hello, welcome to Glide ![]()
Assuming you don’t need any advanced features offered by the business plan:
- Explorer plan. Includes up to 100 monthly active users.
- Maker plan. Includes an unlimited number of monthly active users (with personal email addresses)
I would draw your attention to “active” above. If you don’t think more than 100 members of your family will sign in on a monthly basis, then the explorer plan would probably cover your needs.
