Update to Airtable Personal Access Token

Hey guys, as you may know Airtable changed the way they work with APIs. The old way of generating an API key in the Account area doesn’t exist anymore but on all Glide resources it’s still explained that way - so I suggest you update that.

Also, I deleted my Airtable API key to work with the new systems. Logically, Glide has no access anymore, but I can’t find a way to delete the connection and renew it with the token - so that’s kind of a bug. But it’s generally not possible to connect them using the new token systems anymore is it?

Thanks!

Hoping @Robert_Petitto or @SantiagoPerez can shine some light on this.

I have no clue :dotted_line_face:

As I understand it, Glide don’t support the new Airtable Personal Tokens. Anyone else has a ETA when Glide is gonna fix this?

@adrianovm have you found any solution for this?

Jumping on to this thread as well. My team really wants to get ahead of this so we’re not left scrambling come 2024.

Glide is going to handle it with oAuth flow.

I’m keen to know too - need to get ahead of the game and transfer my Airtable bases over. Or are Glide ditching Airtable?

What is the status regarding Airtable’s personal access tokens?

Any update on this? All our Glideapps are built with Airtable API intergration, so its crucial Glide allows ability to replace with Personal Access Token seamlessley…

They did indeed. It’s now possible to connect an Airtable Account using OAuth and granting access to specific bases.
