Upcoming billing changes for customers in Maryland, Ohio, Utah

Hello Gliders,

Due to recent changes in American tax laws, Glide will begin collecting state and local taxes for customers with billing addresses in Maryland, Ohio, and Utah.

This change will take effect on Tuesday, October 1st, 2024.

This change only applies to customers with billing addresses in the following states:

  • Maryland
  • Ohio
  • Utah

If you’re not in one of these states, your billing won’t change.

For affected customers:

  • Starting October 1st, 2024, you’ll see an additional line item for state and local taxes on your invoice
  • The tax will be calculated based on your billing address and added to your subscription fee
  • Your subscription price isn’t changing – this is just the addition of required taxes

If you’re in one of the affected states:

  • Make sure your billing address in your Glide account is up to date
  • Be prepared for a slight increase in your total charges starting with your first invoice after October 1st, 2024.
