Trying to add scores to grouped competitors

I am having a total blank on this. I have set up the data to work and have relationships on most things but cannot for the life of me work out where and how to do this.

I have a list of people who have entered a number of events (set up in columns as event1, event 2 etc).

Where and how do I add their scores for each of these events?

Please help.

So each person should have a different score for each event? Do they add the scores themselves or you as the admin would do it for them?

Thanks for replying. The scores will be entered by the judges (not the competitors). Really just wanting to capture who was awarded 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
