“The Show” - The Learning Conference

Hey all,

I’m participating in an online competition called “The Show” as part of The Learning Conference. This exciting initiative is a virtual competition where 64 participants battle against each other to win the Best Learning Designer Award.

Last week, I submitted my first submission as part of the competition. This submission proposes the use of GlideApps to provide a future-proofed tool which maximum reach for the citizens of Liberty City.

Check out my submission here (https://youtu.be/T_8Qf_6w1Bo) and I’d love your support if you voted for my entry!

Looks very well designed. Can we have a link to the app?

@Troy_Ashman - This is AMAZING!

For me, it highlights the difference between putting in one hour and putting in ten (could be more/less) to develop the app!

Really well-designed and I LOVE it.

Good luck to you for the future rounds.

Hi all,

I really appreciate the feedback!! :star_struck: I really appreciate all the feedback.

I’ve mocked this up into a quick demo version in Glide which you can view here: https://libertycity.glideapp.io/

Please note that this submission didn’t require a full working version, only a mock up but I’ve transformed it into a live demo version for my submission. But, only certain aspects are completed.

Voted, really good design, are they all images?

Thanks! :grinning:

Yes, I’ve used images for the content in this demo. If it was to be an actual full-blown working app, I would foresee a mixture of both images and actual text pulled from the Google Sheet. I like the use of using imagery in the app as it provides greater control over the design.
