Tentative Date for Private Chat Feature

Hey,

So I’ve been using Glide to test out my idea. But my idea really needs a private chat feature. Yes, there are multiple tutorials showcasing how to do it, but they are just hacks, I would very much prefer if there was a private chat feature with a good interface, provided by Glide, like there’s a Global Chat option. It has been requested quite a lot by other members of the community before. Now that everything else in my app is developed, I’d like to upgrade to the Pro version, but I’m sceptical if Glide will ever release this feature.

I just wanted to know the tentative date that Glide has in mind for releasing this feature.

Private Chat Component

There must be at least a dozen topics in this forum related to creating private chats. It seems to me that there needs to be a “chat” component. I envision this working exactly like the comments thread component, but with the interface of the chat screen. Yeah, I saw that earlier, just upvoted. There have been replies on it from 2020, but there seems to be no update on the problem. Hence the post out of frustration.
