It’s possible, yes. I don’t go into detail about it though in my video series because it’s focused on app subscriptions, not inventory.

So in other words I have no hope of implementing a paid membership subscription site in Glide (which must be one of the fastest growing use cases on the entire internet.) Is this not a massive oversight by Glide?

PayHere would work, or any third-party integration, but eventually when they sunset Apps, you won’t have the buy button anymore as it’s unlikely to come to Pages. They are focusing on internal “dark” apps, not customer-facing apps.

I would say that’s kind of the direction they’re heading to.
