Still hoping for new layout for Fields component

Hi,

Has anyone discovered a way to either pivot the data grid or table components or better format the Fields component on a details screen? I really want a 2 column table where the field name is in column one and the field data is in column two. The field component appears this way on a mobile device simply due to spacing, but not on desktop.

Would love to be able to pivot the data grid on to have field names on the verical rather than horizontal.

I would love this to be a native choice on how to display the Fields component.

I think an alternative for you is generating a JSON of all fields you want to display, then use JavaScript to process it and return a HTML string to use in rich text component.

Thanks for your help. Unfortunately, I’ll have to wait until a component is built. JSON, JavaScript, and HTML is all greek to me. Unfortuantely, I believe it goes beyond the skill set of “a billion new creators” of non-coding, non-techie people that was part of Glide’s claims in the beginning.
