yes, I’m talking about when you click to enter from your comp, it is working on your desktop?
maybe it’s the iPhone problem… I have a Samsung so I can’t try it… on my Mac, it works good

I actually didn’t grab my laptop, because I realized my iPad was already next to me haha. On the backend editor on it I do not get arrows. I believe on my Mac laptop and desktop I recall seeing those. I’ll have to check for sure in the morning.
Can you share a screenshot of what you see on the Mac in the Glide editor when you go to enter in a number field?
OMG!!! it is Safari !
wow!!! that is a problem
i always check on Chrome… and on Safari… but i never checked this!!!
Okay, glad I’m not crazy.
I’ve never reported a bug before, but I’ve seen the form. Do I just fill out the form or also make a community post and label it as a bug?
yes, create a topic here… and also report to glide
Well I worked as a QA analyst 10 years ago… time to brush off my bug report skills.
how did Glide miss that??? just WOW! now I’m worried… I have really big customers… I have to think of a solution… I know all of them use Chrome… but… they might have some employees that do Safari… i have to run scripts through all their data to find text values in number columns… is good i always use Google Sheets as a database, and GS will interpret that as a number… so maybe that’s why so fare nobody complains
I think this has actually been an issue for a while. Maybe as far back as a year or more. I recall running into this on at least one other occasion, but thought I must have set something up incorrectly. Because I’m pretty sure I just told my users not to use commas. I’ll have to search back and see. This app has about 100 users, but I know many of them personally and I’m in a Facebook group with all of them, so I just communicate workarounds when I run into issues usually.
you can do it is a number column to check entries and reject… or convert them to numbers… that would be the easiest way to solve this problem…
I cant believe you are the first one who discovered this… wow!!! lol
