I want to make a record for the accounting of a store where the employee can enter the initial balance and the final balance of a day (situation below). But what I want to ask is if I can somehow get them to enter me on the same row if the cash register number and the date correspond both to the start of the activity and to the end of the activity.
In the layout I put some conditions, that the initial balance should appear only if the type of activity is start of activity, respectively the final balance should appear only if the type of activity is end of activity. So employees can enter the respective balance in the morning and in the evening. I want one single registration for both situations.

If you want to adjust a value in the same row you could use set column value.
In the morning you would add a new row and when you close ‘set column value’… I hope I understood your question.
I tried but it didn’t work or maybe I don’t know how to use it because I’m still learning:)). I’m attaching photos below (it’s not with set column values) with what I want to do more precisely, maybe it’s clearer. I want my employees to make one recording in the morning and one in the evening, and the value of the evening to be entered in the table in the row of the morning recording.
Ok I see what you mean. One easy way is with an edit screen
