So I was today year’s old when I realised you could control a user’s profile image by pushing a URL into their profile photo! Doh!
I used to think it had to be an actual image, which became tricky. So now at sign-up, I can push the URL of an avatar (search boring avatars for tips elsewhere on this forum to generate a URL based on the user’s name) into the profile.
