I’ve made my own login screen but Glide’s login screen is still in the way, I want to get rid of it. I’ve seen this post but I was wondering if anyone has found a solution since then.
Just a fair warning. Creating your own sign in process is not a secure method of authentication. Someone with enough knowledge could aquire all of your access codes and device IDs within minutes of accessing your app, and then sign in with those credentials. The best way to guarantee proper security of data is to use Glide’s official sign in methods along with other security functionality, such as Row Owner and Role based security.
With that said, it used to be the case that if you did not have additional tabs in the side menu, then the menu would not show and the sign in option would not be visible. I’m not sure if that’s the case anymore.
