I created an app and added important data to it. Later, I duplicated the app in order to work on a new version and share it with someone else. In the duplicated version, I deleted the data — but unfortunately, it also deleted the data from the original app.
Is there any way to recover the deleted data from the original app?
Thanks in advance for any help
Looks like you kept the same data source when you duplicated the app. What data source are you using? Google Sheets or Glide Tables?
Yes, that’s most likely what I did, I used Glide’s tables.
There isn’t really a way to recover the data, especially for Glide tables, unless you made some sort of backup beforehand. For the future, when you duplicate an app, make sure to also choose to duplicate the data. You only want to choose to keep the same data if you want a secondary app that shares the same data source.

In your Glide account, you can create folders and organize your apps within them. I organize mine as follows. Notice how I create 2 backups folders, one where the backups are connected (they share the same data) and one where backups are totally independent (they don’t share the same data).
