Question about plans. Offered plans are confusing and not suitable

Hi Glide,

I have a question. I’ve created a livestream app in Glide for a boxing event called Hoodfights. The event itself is a livestream event with a paywall through a Stripe API. The Maker plan offers 5GB of data and unlimited personal users which is perfect for the event, except for the fact that after the Live event we want to place give acces to the fights for 1 month before we release it to the public through youtube. During this one month 5GB of data is not enough and we need to up that to the Enterprise app, which only allows for 40 users and asks €5,- per additional user but then does allow 100GB of content? I’m highly confused because of the fact that the higher plan has a lower amount of accepted users. The ticket price per account is around €5,- so to pay that amount for the users is simply iundoable. Any ideas on how to fix this in a way that is commercially viable?

Thanks!

Go to your billing screen on the Maker plan and click Change Quotas to buy more storage.

Also, I strongly encourage you not to host and stream large media files in Glide’s storage–it’s not built for that.

Team, business and entreprise plans are not an upgrade from the Maker plan, the use cases are entirely different.

Thanks! This helps

We host livestreams one every few months and then have about 7 videos of ±15 minutes on 1080p before we integrate a youtube video into the app

Ahh thanks Nathan, I though it where plan scalings. Thanks!

I see that the max GB we can get in the maker X5 plan is 25GB while I really need to move towards 75. Is there anyway we can discuss a custom plan?

You can by contacting Glide sales directly on Glide’s website.
