Production Glide db is different from the unpublished db

Hi, my name is André!!!

I have a problem with glide db. I published a site and the db is same from the test db. The problem is that the data from the unpublished db is different from the published db. I coundn’t find the user i registered in the unpublished db.

I don’t know what happened!

What is the problem with this site?

There’s one thing happening too. When i put data on the published site and close the browser and open the browser again, the data from the published site desappear.

thanks,

Andre

Sounds like something is weird here. What do you mean by “test db” and “published db”? There should only be one db.

testdb is the unpublished db and production db is published db

That still does not make sense.
You cannot publish a Glide Database.
You can only publish a Glide App, which is connected to a Glide Database.
Each App can have its own database, or multiple Apps can use a shared database.

I think you need to clarify your issue.
Are you talking about two separate Apps using two separate databases?
Or two separate Apps using a shared database?
Or some other configuration?

let’s make it simple:

When I publish a site the glide db is different from the glide db i was registering data when the site was not published.

example:

Once i publish the site i have a address. When i load it in the browser with the address i site loads but the data from the site does not.

thanks,

André

There is no way that should even be possible. The data connected to the project in the builder is the same data connected to the published version of that same project. It’s all the same. The database does not split into a separate database once it’s published. It has never been that way. The database is one in the same.

Forgive us for questioning, but what you are describing should not be possible. There is probably a different underlying issue at play here. This sounds more like something is not configured correctly or you have Row Owners, User Specific columns, filters, or visibility conditions kicking in. Whatever it is, it is most definitely not a separate DB on the published version.

I think we would need to see some screenshots of your data from the data editor, how the app looks in the layout editor, how it looks in the published version, and a description of what you are expecting to see.
