I want to use an astrology API with Glide, but I don’t think the UX will be similar to what people are used to with astrology apps e.g. a circle birth chart. Does an API allow you to shape how the data will display on the app or should I just plan on using a table?

Thanks @eltintero :100:

How do you make your own Glide Radio experience? See You're Listening to Glide Radio

@Dorrissa I would stick to a table. But only because I don’t have enough understanding on how exactly you want the data to be presented.

Forget my last question… I read through the article more thoroughly instead of just seeing the video… LOL It gives great details on how to make your own Glide Radio of sorts.

What are some of the common challenges or issues for people who want to push their Glide to a native app via platforms like GoNative.io?

@Dorrissa native apps have never actually been something I’ve considered.

Our apps are for internal users. I like it this way as each app is completely custom to our processes. The apps we create are purely operationally focused.

But an app for the general public is something I have never gotten into.

I would recommend doing a search through the community for other topics where people have wanted to publish a native app.

Thank you so much @Mitch_Thorp1! If anybody has any experiences they’d like to share about pushing Glide to native, I’d love to hear/see it! I’ll do a deeper dive in search, too.

We’ve done some native wrapping for some of our clients. They work just fine, but I don’t find a lot of value on being in the app store. IMO, the app stores are not a customer acquisition channel. IF your target market is in the app store, probably Glide is not the best platform to build your app, since you won’t be able to monetize it. Just my 2 cents.

This is in Pages now.

I can’t find that component even on the Business plan… Is it enterprise only?

It’s an action…not a component…so maybe add it to button? Honesty, I haven’t tested it yet.
