Personalized AI shortcuts, speech and research tools

:earth_americas: Hey Gliders! My name is Alex Nix. Today, I’m excited to introduce you to the open beta of the Sol-A. This tool provides a range of functionalities designed to simplify your life and boost productivity.

It took us 7 months to develop this, @Bio_Sam and I worked together. We started in April with the simple idea of creating a simplified version of communication with LLM such as GPT, and it has become more powerful than we expected.

This is our very first project; we don’t usually code or develop applications. We are sure that this is a great showcase of how Glide, as a no-code tool, can enhance the ability of creative people to create products they never thought about!

Let’s explore each of functionalities Sol-A offers:

Shortcuts
The most extensive feature of our app is Shortcuts. With 15 categories covering everything from lifestyle to creativity, wellness to business, each category contains AI shortcuts that provide helpful generations based on your needs.

You can generate presentations, marketing plans, movie scripts, website structures, startup ideas, and more.

All you need to do is write your thoughts as they are and simply tap the generate button.

Currently, we offer over 100 shortcuts, and we’re developing a shortcut constructor to allow you to create your own shortcuts. You can already apply to get access.

Personal Assistant

Meet your new Personal Assistant.

This feature utilizes the information provided in your profile settings. It knows your job position, industry, hobbies, and more.

You can engage in conversations with the assistant, ask questions, seek advice, or use templates for personal statements, resumes, and CVs. It can also generate personalized nicknames, jokes, stories, and profile descriptions for various platforms.

Research Engine

Next up is our special feature, the Research Engine.

This tool enables you to conduct research on any topic in just minutes.

Simply input your research topics or questions, and our AI algorithms will generate five aspects related to your query.

You can delve into each aspect for deep exploration.

Once you’ve explored, the tool can compile your findings into a comprehensive paper, complete with a title, description, introduction, conclusion, and references.

And for easy sharing, you can export your research as a PDF file.

Speech Tool

Our Speech Tool is the new notepad. This tool allows you to record your notes or anything you want to say.

The recorded audio can then be used for translation, rephrasing, grammar analysis, and more.

In the future, you will be able to use any shortcuts from the library along with the speech tool to create various content just by recording your voice.

So, that’s a look at the features we’re launching with the open beta of Sol-A

We welcome your feedback and look forward to hearing about your favorite features. Thank you for reading this post!

HI there!

What a wonderful app! Congrats on the design!
I was working on something similar (but as a lead magnet vs paid as you are doing).

What’s your take on scalability? I see you keep history (we are not doing that, we are always updating the User Row, we built an AI engine there). I also see that you are using Standard Glide Tables (as search is instantenous) instead of Big Tables.

Very curious! Wonderful job!

Crushed it. How is your architecture for dynamic context, or persistent memory?
