Hi everyone,
My developer said that there is no way of logging into Glide using a password and the only way to do it was to use the PIN sent via email which does not seem very secure. Surely there must be a way of setting a password to login? Any help would be much appreciated!
Best wishes,
James

I don’t think about it anymore, but as far as I remember here are the methods to sign in to Glide:
- A Glide app: email+pin or Google authentication
- Glide to build apps: email+pin or Google authentication
Email+password are not a sign-in method in Glide. In fact, it feels like the tech world is slowly phasing out passwords.

Yep.
These days I’m always suspicious of anything that asks me to set a password, and I’m more likely to just not bother with the service if they don’t support Google login.

I hate when they “suggest a secure password”, because it does not store in my Chrome passwords, and so when I try to log in on my cell phone, I cannot even look up the password!
I hate passwords, and choose “Join with Google or Facebook or LinkedIn” as frequently as possible.
