Just noticed the options for a regular or compact list are no longer side-by-side, the compact list can be selected in the new “DESIGN” section. Hopefully this is to give room for more good stuff to come!
Yep! Noticed that too! So glad that lots of people are spying on staging features! 
Except that it is live and not in staging anymore
