So I go into actions, I choose “add row”, I select the table that I want to add row to, and it auto-reverses back to the table that I am coming from. It’s like that for 50% of my tables. For some I can add a new row, for some not. It’s a submit action. What’s going on here?
I think I might be having the same issue as you, something similar is happening when I try change the ‘add row’ action to be another table it won’t change … even if I try change to another action or custom action it won’t move from the add row action now
do you have inline templating enabled? I have been told that it is a known issue with the inline templating… what I did was disable the inline templating (which doesn’t remove any inline templating that is already set) then you can set up the add row action as you need and finally add the inline templating back again
Yes, that’s an issue for now and they will deploy a fix.
It’s fixed now, but what is inline templating? I for sure didn’t enable it.
Check the Preview features for your Team folder.
You’ll know if you are using it because you can do things like this without having to create a template column in the table.
It’s in what is referred to as a “Public Beta” state, which means that it is enabled by default, but you are still able to disable it via previews.
