I would like to be able to move the columns I create in the Data Editor.
Sometimes I have columns I would like to ‘group’ together.
Would be easier to find in drop down menus if they were grouped by me.
Especially Relations followed by relevant Lookups.
The more I work with Glide, the more I need this feature. Maybe even allowing to group/collapse data columns once they’ve been rearranged. There are times when I’ll create 4 or 5 data columns to accomplish one feature within the app. Being able to get these columns side by side and grouped would make reading the app data easier.
Sigh…only has one vote still…such a needed feature. Was thinking about this today:
Perhaps brand this feature as a “workflow” within the data editor. Often I’ll create a series of columns for one purpose. (Template > Relate > Email Lookup > If-Then by signed-in user) 4 columns…1 purpose. Be able to group these columns as a “workflow” or “function” to reduce scrolling horizontally within the editor would be nice!
We’ll implement moving and renaming columns in due time. It’s clear to us that this is needed, we just haven’t gotten around to it yet.
