Is developer retail templates packaged and encrypted?

  1. I see developers selling complex Glide templates. Will templates create the necessary Google Sheets in my Google Drive automatically? Or does it use Glide native data sheets only?

  2. Are the retail templates the same as templates that I made, or does it get packaged and encrypted somehow so regular folks can’t see the inside settings? Otherwise how do developers protect their works?

  1. if the templates are made using glide tables, it should create the same in your app when you duplicate it.
    Same is the case with Google sheets.
    It should create a new sheet on your Google drive.

  2. No it’s not encrypted.
    You can get the same data in the same format with same UI shown in the template in the copy app thats generated when you buy/try the template
