iOS says offline, but it's not offline

Question for those with iOS. I’m Android through and through, but I have one app that’s primarily used on an iPad. It’s most often used inside an ice rink that has sketchy internet access sometimes. I currently have the iPad at home (app was not closed between the rink and home) and it currently has an indicator that says ‘Offline’ in the lower left corner. However, it’s online and fully functioning. It’s also syncing data normally with the same app on another device. Everything indicates that it is online, but it still says offline in the corner.

I’m sure it will go away once I close and reopen the app, but I’m wondering if this is a common occurrence for those that use iOS devices regularly. At the rink, sometimes the app won’t work right, and requires the app and wifi to be recycled a few times. Sometimes it requires a full restart of the iPad. The whole time, things like YouTube work just fine. I’m sure the Internet connection is part of the problem and possibly the fact that the app isn’t closed between uses (the purpose of the iPad is solely for this one app).

I’m just curious if others have gotten the offline indicator, but the app worked normally…or if other oddities have been observed on an iOS device that’s primarily used just with a Glide app.

Yep I’ve noticed it occasionally where it’s all working fine but the offline indicator shows up

I noticed this a couple times on my iPhone.

I don’t have an iPad, but I am an iPhone user. Can’t say I’ve ever noticed this behaviour.

Same as Darren, admittedly I don’t use Glide apps much on iOS except an internal app.
