Insert user profiles columns in forms

Seems like this is new?

To my understanding, you can now insert user profiles columns anywhere in forms, in addition to screen columns.

Hello
Awesome
It is available in “ADD” but not in “EDIT” :frowning:
Pity.

Do we need in edit? Wouldn’t the row already have the right columns from the initial ADD? Just asking, not a sarcastic question…

I suppose it could come in handy if you want to track a “last edited by” when editing. Then again, you always have the email special value, but I suppose there could always be other values in the user profile that you want permanently written during edit instead of setting up a relation and lookup would could cause the value to change if the value on the user profile changes.

Thanks Jeff…makes sense. This has been on my wishlist for a while so having them in ADD is just GREAT. I’m sure they’ll make their way to edit soon enough lol. @Mark

Hello
Yes it is exactly. It is not necessarily the same user between the addition and the modification.
Only the email address is not enough, because in case of change of address the related information is lost
