Do you mean you can’t manage it yourself in the connected Spreadsheet? If yes, yeah, it has always been like that since the introduction of Comments component.
If you want to manage Comments then you would have to do your own comments flow, which is writing the comments to another table. You can actually allow the user to edit and delete their comments this way, it’s more robust, but the tradeoff is it counts towards your row quota.
