How to insert google tag in Glide app

Hi,

For custom events tracking, Google Tag manager needs you to insert the google tag in the html. Now thats easy to do for a website by copy-pasting the code in the head tag of the HTML. But how to do this for Glide app? I looked but haven’t found anything relevant yet.

Thank you @Jeff_Hager I did go through this doc, looks like missed the end of it - is that section you;re referring to - which is “Track custom events”

can you confirm that alone will work to track user events on the app and I dont need to add html (like how its done for a website)

I haven’t used GTM, so I don’t know what it can do.

Long story short though, you can’t inject html in the way you are thinking. Just not possible with Glide. You have to use what integrations offer.

Got it. How have you measured user engagement in the past for the apps you’ve developed with Glide?

I don’t. If I need to know what works or doesn’t work in the app, I just ask the user or they let me know. Most of my projects are personal or involve a tight group of users
