Hi, I am new to glide and am trying to create an app that shows faces and images. These are not public on the web, and I am only aware of Glide taking images from public urls.
How can I can use those pictures in my Glide app?

Welcome to the community!
You can upload them to glide. The column that holds your image you click on (on Glide Editor) Edit and change it to an image column then click on the cell. A sub-menu will pop up on the left corner you will find the upload button.
