How to change row order in Glide Table?
I need to insert a new row between the current rows. This would help with row numbering. Will this ever work?

It’s one of the few annoyances of using Glide Tables over other 3rd party database solutions.
If you are using the second use case in the post below, a Lookup that uses a sorted Query column, instead of the table, should allow you to number rows according to the sort order you choose. That way you do not have to insert rows into the middle of other rows.
You have a list of rock objects in alphabetical order. So how do I insert another name in alphabetical order? Glass objects are still being formed. There are about 20 of them a year.
Just sort your collection by rock name

Sort the collection on the front end. The data in the back end doesn’t have to be sorted.
I don’t understand. I can’t move it on the front page.
Select the collection component on the left hand side of the layout editor, then select the Options tab on the right hand side of the layout editor. What is your Sort Order set to for the collection?
Sorry, I was at work. I have it set alphabetically. Oh well.
The last flaw is that the 2nd screen with the text moves to the right after swiping with a finger. It is not static. When I asked, I was told that it is part of the program and cannot be set. That is wrong. The user accidentally swipes with his finger and the screen disappears. It happens 5 times in a row and you turn off the application.
