GlideOS: No way to change app icon without using AI chat credits?

Hey everyone,

I’m building a fitness app called Arbify on GlideOS and I’m trying to upload a custom app icon (I have the PNGs ready, 1024x1024, dark and white versions).

In classic Glide there was a manual “Settings > Name & Icon” panel where you could just upload an image directly. I can’t find anything equivalent in GlideOS:

  • The workspace-level Settings (top left, “Skyral” dropdown) only has an icon field for the workspace, not the individual app — changing it there didn’t update my Arbify app’s icon in the “All apps” list on the dashboard.
  • Inside the Arbify app editor itself, the only menu I can find (via the 3-dot icon next to the app tab) has Rename, Switch to desktop, Fullscreen, Add to favorites, Open on phone, and View published app — nothing about the icon.
  • I’m currently at 0 credits, so I can’t just ask the AI agent in chat to do it either.

Is there a manual way to set the app-level icon in GlideOS, or is this genuinely locked behind AI chat credits right now? If it’s the latter, that seems like a rough limitation for something as basic as an icon change — would love to know if this is on the roadmap to fix.

Thanks!
