Glide is not downloading/opening a PDF file correctly from a URL internal storage. I click to open the URL it runs straight to the download folder then unable to recognise file type? it use to open into a webpage? any help in appreciated.
What do you mean by it runs straight to the download folder?
Hi Maxime,
I figured out the issue. I was using DocsAutomator to parse data and create a PDF and for a strange reason if file name was set the same as the URL name it was downloading the file to the computer without the name and in an unrecognised format. until i renamed the file with .pdf it converted it back to a recognisable PDF. Once i changed the file name to be something else it began opening back in the web browser (googleapi). Unsure as to why but it fixed the issue.
Glad to hear!
This is an important point: Glide likes you to add the extension to the file name. I’ve gone down this road before.
