Which is a shame as I use this all the time.
Mac OS - Chrome.
It has been working… and now nothing.
Seems like it still works, kind of…
So instead of searching inside the data grid, it searches the list of tables.
I think I like this better

I made the mistake of trying it in the GDE… I click on Data and GDE crashes and grey screen again.
And you got further than I did - I did not even get the popup for search text entry.
