GBT dropdown choice component with default value prevent form submit

When using a big table as the source for a choice component in a form screen for regular table. The default value that is set shows up in the required choice component, but that choice component prevents the submission of the form. Untill i click again that same item.

This only problem happens with a dropdown variant of the choice component, with the chips or radio works perfect.

EDIT: I realised the problem lies with the css i used to prevent the form submit when certain value is not empty

I cannot replicate this - that is, it works as expected for me.

Any chance you can make a short video to show the failure, or add a few screen shots?
