At what temperature does both Fahrenheit and Celsius equal same ambient temperature ?

Here is how to do the conversion
To convert temperatures in degrees Fahrenheit to Celsius, subtract 32 and multiply by .5556 (or 5/9).

I’m thinking this is a trick question… I don’t think they can ever be equal.
I can recall learning (many many) years ago about the time we switched from F to C in Australia that a rough conversion from C to F is to double it and add 32. So given that, no matter what you have for C, F is going to be at least 32 more…

Using my own formula: -32 * 2 + 32 = -32
duh! (that’s an approximation)

You use 32, not 30. And it’s not quite half. That’s why -32 is an approximation.

I learned this in school, but without doing any math or cheating, I’m gonna go with -20 or -25.
