I wonder what would happen if you set up a custom action on your Add button that first does a View Details through the relation, followed by the Show Form action. Hopefully it would then be sitting on the correct row through the relation, so you would have access to the details of that matching item within the form.

Will it work with Multiple UPC? i did do a test from a view. But from the Single Relationship it currently fails. Assuming it has multiple matches.

Change it to a multi-relation and then display it as an inline list.
Then from there, do what Jeff said.

Just a comment.
Stop using “True” and “False”, I use 0 and 1 for all calculations, ifthen, filter, visibility, … and it works fine.
“True, False” are just literal expressions of a Boolean value.

Thank you for the tip. Using it now. The true issue was that i needed to create checkbox and hide them. I couldn’t get the filter working since checkbox have default items.

Just a little advice.
To do an ifthen, filter, visibility test, use the expressions “is 1” or “is Not 1”.
So you don’t have to worry about the “Empty” value.
do not use a test with the value “0”.

What are all formula you can use with math?

Hi guys i would like to collect data on what you can do with math. If there is any other way to calculate things besides +,-,*,/ I feel like this info is missing in glide. Lets say i want to calculate how many times a name is appeared over again. would that be possible? Compare a col to another. If Something = to something? You get the point. Can we share all knowledge if it exist and if we are able to here. Math should be a big subject. And we should be able to do much more then we currently a…

What are all formula you can use with math?

Yes, there is a solution - templates. Create a template column that concatenates the customer name and product, then relate that template column to itself. Then do a rollup through that relation to get a count. This is bread and butter stuff when it comes to Glide computed columns. Dig out a few of Bob Petitto’s tutorials and watch them. He covers this sort of stuff in many/most of them.
