Hi there
A question for everyone: surely it has happened to you that you have to allow the download of a file (Example PDF, DOC, etc). Which hosting service is more usable to the final user? Dropbox, Google Drive…
While I’m at it I’d like to thank @Robert_Petitto for all the videos that got me started on developing a web app with Glide. I enjoyed them all and in every sauce

Glide storage is the best option.
When that isn’t feasible or practical, my second choice is GDrive. Be aware though, if you choose to store files outside of Glide then they must be publicly accessible if you want to make them available via your app.

I assumed that the management of files that can be loaded into glide were only image type files. So another type of file can also be uploaded as an image? Consider that what I intend to upload are GPX of few kb!
You can upload virtually any type of file, as far as I’m aware.
There are storage limits, of course - which vary according to the type of plan.

Perfect! Thank you for the quick response

What @Darren_Murphy said. And I’m glad my videos gave you a proper kickstart!

Just to add to this I’ve been told the 10GB storage limit for Private Pro is not a hard limit… you can exceed it. Also stated they will likely change the rules in the future.
