Error 1001: Unable to Import Table into Big Table

I encountered an issue while trying to import a table into a new Big Table. During the process, an error occurred with the message:

“An unknown error occurred while importing the file. Error: 1001.”

I have attempted the process multiple times with the same result. I’ve followed all standard procedures for table import, and the file format appears to be correct. I would appreciate any guidance or troubleshooting steps to resolve this issue.

Additional Information:

  • The error message appeared immediately after initiating the import.
  • I was using a newly created Big Table in a fresh Glide project.
  • I have attached a screenshot of the error message for reference.

Please let me know how I can resolve this and successfully import the table.

How big is your file? I think there might be an upper limit in terms of size.

The limit used to be 4.8MB, but I believe that’s been extended or removed.
The warning is gone, and just recently I was able to successfully import a 17.2MB CSV file into a Big Table.

@mike_schiessl which format are you using?

I would suggest taking a small subset of your data and try importing into a regular Glide Table. This should help identify if the issue is specific to GBT.
